Our Technology

See what is really going on inside.

Better answers start with better information. Aligned Health combines four powerful in-office diagnostic tools, so every care plan we build is grounded in facts about your body, not guesses about your symptoms.
A different kind of exam

Diagnostics that see the whole picture.

At most chiropractic offices, the exam is a hands-on assessment and maybe a set of X-rays. At Aligned Health, that is only the beginning. We layer four different diagnostic tools together, structure, nerves, body composition and functional movement, so Dr. Wheeler sees the full picture on your very first visit. It is one of the reasons our care plans work.

01

Digital X-Ray

A clear window into your spine and joints.

Digital X-ray gives us high-resolution images of your spine and joints in seconds, captured right here in the office. It uses significantly less radiation than traditional film, and the images appear on screen immediately, so we can review them together and explain exactly what we are seeing.

The X-ray reveals what a hands-on exam alone cannot: subtle misalignments, disc-space narrowing, arthritic changes, spinal curves like scoliosis, and structural anomalies that quietly shape how your body carries load. It also lets us rule out anything that would call for a different kind of care.

For spinal decompression, corrective care and long-term spine health, imaging is not optional, it is what tells us whether a treatment is appropriate, where to focus first, and whether your spine is responding over time.

02

InBody Body Metrics Analysis

Beyond the scale, into what matters.

The InBody analyzer is an FDA-cleared, medical-grade body-composition device. In about sixty seconds, standing on the platform with your hands on the sensors, it maps your body with a level of precision a bathroom scale cannot approach.

You get a full breakdown: skeletal muscle mass, body-fat percentage, visceral (belly) fat, segmental distribution across your arms, trunk and legs, water balance, and your basal metabolic rate. Together those numbers tell a story the scale never will, whether you are actually losing fat or losing muscle, where imbalances are hiding, and how your metabolism is behaving.

For weight-loss patients, athletes, and anyone rebuilding after injury, this is how we measure real progress. It turns "I feel better" into numbers you can watch improve, and it lets us fine-tune your plan based on how your body is actually responding.

03

Sudoscan Nerve Testing

A three-minute look at your nerve health.

Sudoscan is an FDA-cleared, completely painless test that measures the small-fiber nerves in your hands and feet, the same nerves that misfire in peripheral neuropathy. You simply place your hands and the soles of your feet on the device's stainless-steel plates while it delivers a tiny, imperceptible current.

In about three minutes, Sudoscan produces a set of numbers that tell us how well those nerves are actually working. It is one of the few tools sensitive enough to catch small-fiber nerve dysfunction early, often before traditional nerve studies flag anything, and early is precisely when neuropathy is most responsive to care.

For neuropathy patients, we use Sudoscan at the start of care to establish a clear baseline, and periodically thereafter to measure real, objective progress. It is how we turn something as subjective as "my feet feel better" into hard data you can trust.

04

Functional Evaluations

How your body actually moves.

Imaging shows us your structure. Body composition and nerve testing show us what is happening inside. Functional evaluation completes the picture by revealing how you actually move, because a body can look fine on paper and still be moving in ways that create pain.

Our functional exam takes in posture, joint range of motion, muscle strength and activation, gait, balance and specific movement patterns. We watch how you stand, walk, squat and reach, and we test whether the right muscles are firing at the right moment. Compensations that have quietly been driving your pain for years often reveal themselves here.

Those findings connect directly to your care plan. If your right hip is not extending properly through gait, your low-back care and any corrective exercises reflect that reality. It is how we make sure we are not just treating what hurts today, but changing why it hurts in the first place.

— THE WHOLE PICTURE

One exam.Four lenses. A better plan.

Each of these tools tells us one part of the story. Together they give us something genuinely rare in modern chiropractic care: a complete look at your structure, your nerves, your composition and how you move. That is what lets Dr. Wheeler build a plan that is grounded in evidence, targeted at the true cause, and measurable over time, so you can see your progress, not just feel it.
