SPINE & NERVE

Calm the Fire of Sciatica

That shooting pain down the leg has a source in the spine. We take the pressure off the nerve so you can sit, stand and sleep again.

Sciatica is unmistakable:

a sharp, burning or electric pain that travels from the low back into the buttock and down the leg. It happens when the sciatic nerve gets irritated or compressed, often by a disc or tight surrounding tissue.

Our goal is simple and specific, take the pressure off that nerve and restore healthy motion so the flare settles and stays settled.

What irritates the sciatic nerve

The most common culprits are bulging or herniated discs, joint restriction in the lower spine, and tight muscles like the piriformis pressing on the nerve. Pinning down the true source is essential, because the right fix for a disc differs from the right fix for a muscle.

How we relieve it

For many people, gentle chiropractic adjustments paired with non-surgical spinal decompression create room around the nerve and encourage the disc to recover. We layer in soft-tissue work and targeted movements to keep the area mobile and resilient.

Relief usually means

  • Less shooting pain and numbness down the leg
  • Easier sitting, standing and sleeping
  • Restored confidence to move without bracing for pain
Most sciatica responds well to conservative care, often helping patients avoid injections or surgery.
