Our Technology

Correct the cause, not just the symptom.

Corrective care is what turns temporary relief into lasting change. Six coordinated tools work together to realign your structure, relieve pressure on discs and joints, support the foundation of your posture, and reinforce it all with the daily habits that make the results hold.
A different aim

Care built to actually change things.

Most healthcare is designed to quiet symptoms. Corrective care is designed to fix what caused them. At Aligned Health, we combine precise chiropractic adjustments, targeted decompression for the spine, neck and knees, custom foot orthotics and honest lifestyle coaching into one coordinated plan. Each piece plays a specific role, and together they help your body find, and hold, a healthier baseline.

01

Chiropractic

Precise adjustments that restore proper motion.

Chiropractic care is the foundation of corrective care at Aligned Health. Precise, controlled adjustments restore healthy motion to specific joints of the spine, relieving nerve pressure and giving the body the space it needs to heal itself.

Dr. Wheeler practices the Palmer Package techniques and is trained and certified in Activator Methods, Thompson, Cox Flexion-Distraction and spinal decompression. That range matters, because the right technique for one patient is not the right technique for another. Every adjustment is matched to your body, your comfort and the specific problem we are correcting.

When joints move properly, everything downstream works better: nerves communicate cleanly, muscles stop over-guarding, inflammation calms, and the body stops compensating around old restrictions. That is the difference between chasing pain and correcting the cause of it.

02

Spinal Decompression

Gentle traction that gives your discs room to heal.

Spinal decompression is a gentle, non-surgical therapy that creates space in the spine to relieve pressure on discs and nerves. It is one of the most powerful non-surgical tools we have for disc-related back pain and sciatica.

Using the Back on Trac system, we apply controlled, comfortable traction that gently separates the vertebrae. That negative pressure encourages bulging or herniated disc material to retract away from the nerve, while drawing in fresh blood, oxygen and nutrients, the things a compressed disc has been starved of.

Most patients find sessions genuinely relaxing, and relief builds over a series of visits. It is often the turning point for people who were told surgery was the only path forward.

03

Cervical Decompression

The same relief, focused where your neck needs it.

Cervical decompression brings the same principles to the neck. Using gentle, targeted upward traction, it creates space in the cervical spine, relieving pressure on the discs and nerve roots that pass through it.

That matters because the cervical spine is where many of the most stubborn nerve symptoms begin. A pinched nerve in the neck can send pain, numbness or tingling all the way down the arm and into the hand, and no amount of shoulder or wrist care will fix it until the source is addressed.

Cervical decompression is comfortable and controlled, and it is a strong drug-free option for cervical disc issues, chronic neck pain and cervical radiculopathy that has not responded to other care.

04

Knee Decompression

A non-surgical answer for the joint that carries you.

Knee decompression is a specialized therapy that gently distracts the knee joint, creating temporary space between the femur and the tibia. That small amount of space can make a big difference for a knee under years of load.

When the joint decompresses, pressure eases off worn cartilage and irritated meniscus tissue. Fresh fluid moves back into the joint space, delivering the nutrients cartilage needs. When we pair the decompression with red light or laser therapy, we support tissue repair at the same time we relieve the pressure that has been wearing the joint down.

It is a compelling option for knee osteoarthritis, meniscal degeneration and chronic knee pain, especially for patients who want to delay, or ideally avoid, surgery.

05

Custom Orthotics

Whole-body alignment starts at the ground.

If the foundation is off, everything above it compensates. Feet that pronate, arches that collapse, or gait patterns that favor one side quietly load your knees, hips, low back and even your neck in ways that create pain far from the source.

That is why custom orthotics are a real corrective tool, not just an in-shoe upgrade. We start with a digital 3D scan of your feet that captures your specific arch shape and pressure patterns. From there, orthotics are fabricated to your exact prescription and worn like insoles in your everyday shoes.

Well-fit orthotics support your natural arch, balance the weight across each foot, and restore the alignment of the kinetic chain running up through your body. It is one of the simplest ways to make your other corrective care hold longer.

06

Diet & Lifestyle

Corrective care includes how you live.

ou cannot out-adjust bad daily habits. Nutrition, sleep, movement and stress all directly influence inflammation, your capacity to heal, and your body's ability to hold the corrections we make in the office.

Our coaching focuses on the practical, sustainable changes that actually move the needle: an anti-inflammatory foundation of whole foods, adequate hydration, better sleep hygiene, daily movement, and small ergonomic tweaks at work and home. Nothing dramatic, nothing punishing, just realistic changes that fit your life.

The compounding effect is what makes this a corrective tool. When your daily habits stop fighting your care and start working alongside it, corrections hold, energy returns, and results become genuinely lasting instead of a temporary reset.

— The whole toolkit

Six Tools. One Aim. Real correction that holds.

The point of corrective care is not another temporary fix. It is a body that moves the way it was designed to, so pain does not keep coming back. We combine these tools thoughtfully, based on what your body actually needs, and adjust as it responds.
